FOOD & BEVERAGE
Restaurant Server (full-time with bartending experience and part-time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Ensures guests are comfortable per the Heritage of Green Hills script and have received menus, water, and bread (if applicable). Takes and delivers beverage orders quickly and accurately. Takes food order, presents to kitchen staff and delivers meal to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner in accordance with The Heritage of Green Hills policies. Ensures guest and resident satisfaction by clearing dishes between courses, maintaining water, and checking on the guest’s liking of the entrée. Responds quickly to resident or guest concerns. Reports any resident comments or concerns to Dining Room Manager immediately. Assists in bussing and resetting tables in a timely fashion. Assists in room service as needed. Completes all side work as assigned. Complies with all state and county health codes for food handling. Handles china, glassware and equipment safely to minimize breakage. Maintains personal hygiene and a clean uniform every day. Cook (full time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Prepares all food in accordance with the daily menu plan and food production schedule using standardized recipes in a timely manner. Plates food in an attractive manner and ensures that all condiments and garnishes are prepared and served with the appropriate foods. Keeps work area and serving line equipment clean and adheres to sanitation cleaning schedules. Works the food line during mealtime. Ensures proper food temperature maintenance, and follow HACCP standards. Keeps stock rooms, coolers and freezers clean and ensures that food supply stocks are rotated, all perishables are labeled, dates and sorted properly. Keeps food waste to a minimum by using food storage and food recycling techniques. Follows the U.S.D.A. Food Pyramid for all portion sizes and daily dietary guidelines. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interaction with co-workers and other departments. Dishwasher (full time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations, Maintains sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen sufficient to allow regular tours of the area by residents and guests, Safely and efficiently operates dish washing machine, pot & pan sink, and the mop station according to procedure manual, Ensures proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing and machine drying, Removes from service any dishes, utensils and glassware that are damaged and broken, Stocks and rotates delivered food and non-food items, Empties and clears garbage bins and breakdown of boxes, Responsible for deep cleaning of kitchen and all equipment, Completes all side work and cleaning assignments as directed, Handles china, glassware and equipment safely to minimize breakage, Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices, Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers. NURSING
Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) / Nurse Aide (1st and 2nd shift part-time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Complies with all Personal Care Home Regulations as well as Federal, State and Local Regulations. Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment. Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated. Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed. Answers signal lights promptly. Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly. Maintains safe and sanitary work stations and equipment. Encourages independence, attendance at activities, restorative programs and rehabilitation. Attend all required training, in-service and staff meetings. RESIDENT SERVICES
Home Health C.N.A. (per diem) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Complies with all Home Care Regulations as well as federal, state and local regulations. Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment. Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Reports and records daily observations in the communication book and results of dailing living, and resident care procedures. Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed. Changes bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly. Maintains safe and sanitary work stations and equipment. Encourages independence, attendance at activities, restorative programs and rehabilitation. Support a positive and professional image through action and dress. Perform all othe duties as assigned.
Activities Assistant (part-time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Encourages and motivates residents to participate in programs designed to provide physical, cognitive, spiritual, social and recreational stimulation. Assist in planning, preparing, promoting, facilitating, coordinating, and participating in activities including but not limited to: reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outside trips, and special events. Assists with purchasing supplies for activities as needed. Performs and directs the movement of residents to and from recreational areas. Announces scheduled activities over the intercom at least 15 minutes prior to the activity. Plans and coordinates activities in the absence of the Arts & Entertainment Coordinator. Maintains accurate documentation of resident's activity attendance. Encourages families, volunteers and staff to participate in activities with residents. Assists with decorations for designated areas for holidays, seasons, and other occasions as assigned. Complies with safety regulations to ensure the well being of residents while participating in activities. Complies with all Personal Care Home Regulations as well as Federal, State and Local Regulations. Assists with distributing daily resident mail. Assists residents at meal times in the dining room if needed. Assists in preparing and distributing the monthly activity calendar and newsletter. Attend all pertinent resident functions. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Housekeeping Specialist (full time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas daily. Prepares apartments for new move-ins as assigned. Communicates resident change in condition to Supervisor of Housekeeping Services. Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines. Participates in annual cleaning schedules as directed. Helps in laundry as necessary to wash, dry and iron as directed. Informs direct supervisor of any resident issues or concerns and works cooperatively to resolve them. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interaction with co-workers and other departments. Supports a positive and professional image through action and dress. Performs all other duties as assigned.
PLANT OPERATIONS
Groundskeeper (seasonal, part-time) - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Responds to and completes landscaping duties in a timely, efficient manner at the direction of the Plant Operations Manager ensuring the best quality and service. Operates all gas powered equipment, including mowers and string trimmers. Cares for all ground areas by mulching, aerating, weeding, trimming and edging around flower beds, walks and walls. Applies pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. Water lawns, trees and plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses or watering cans. Returns all equipment to designated shop location. Cleans and services all equipment and tools used in grounds maintenance. Trims and prunes trees, hedges and shrubbery. Knowledge of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures. Maintains office, shop and mechanical areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Uses personal protective equipment as necessary. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interaction with co-workers and other departments. Supports a positive and professional image through action and dress. Performs all other duties as assigned.
FINANCE
Finance Specialist II - Ensures every interaction with residents, visitors, staff or guests is an exceptional one that meets or exceeds their expectations. Assist in: preparation of asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information and maintains appropriate accounting schedules that reconcile to the general ledger; maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies; fixed asset processing and reporting in accounting software and reconciles monthly report balances to the general ledger; compiling and submitting monthly and quarterly accounting packages as directed by management and ownership; the annual external audit process, which includes compiling schedules, explaining journal entries, analyzing data and responding to inquiries; compiling and distributing monthly departmental cost center reporting to departmental managers; reviewing financial statements, analyzing trends, and recording appropriate accruals and reclasses; preparing and distributing resident’s monthly bills and records cash receipts into billing software; reconciling and recording payroll balances into the general ledger. Process invoices into accounting software and review accuracy and completeness. Works with Department managers and outside vendors to ensure all invoices are received, approved, and entered into the Accounts Payable system. Process check requests, accounts payable, garnishments and tax payments insuring all appropriate approvals have been received. Learns and understands all Oracle financial modules, Answers on Demand, C3Linc, Kronos Time Clock management system and Vision billing software. Provides basic user training and support for network functions. Assist in creating and initiating support requests with third parties involving network issues, PC / printer issues and other technical issues not able to be resolved on site. Provide status updates and completion information to managers and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication. Connects users to network and provides the appropriate security level permissions. Assists residents with all business center computer stations, printer / copy machine and other business center services. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to the point-of-sale (POS) system and credit card issues with help from the Financial Services Director and third parties as needed.
