On September 25, more than 175 people came to the Heritage of Green Hills Welcome Center for Demo Days, a hands-on event highlighting what life will be like at Berks County’s newest retirement community.
Guests perused menus and tasted sample cuisine from the community’s future restaurant and pub and participated in live cooking demonstrations with Chef Martin Leonard, Food and Beverage Director at Heritage Pointe of Teaneck.
Well by DesignSM Director Cheryl Anderson introduced the community’s unique wellness program and guests learned more about the latest exercise machines from Keiser, innovative equipment especially designed for older adults that will be featured in the state-of-the-art fitness center.
Guests also had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Diane Bonaccorsi and other healthcare partners, as well as representatives from additional on-site services such as VIST Financial and The Heritage Salon.
Demo Days provided a unique opportunity for future residents and friends to touch, taste and feel what the Heritage of Green Hills is all about.
