The 2009 Heritage Senior Awards Announces Call for Nomination

Know someone should be publicly honored for outstanding service to senior adults in Berks County? Now, you can make sure that person is considered for recognition.

Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2009 Heritage Senior Awards. This program honors those who have provided exemplary service, support, or opportunity to seniors in our region.

The Heritage of Green Hills, a continuing care retirement community for senior adults, created the awards to shine a spotlight on the efforts of those who have made contributions in the following categories:

Senior of the Year

Student of the Year

Person of the Year

Business of the Year

The Heritage Lifetime Achievement Award

For guidelines or to download a nomination form, visit our home page or call (610)777-4431. Nomination forms will also be made available to local businesses, organizations, and school districts.

Anyone may nominate a deserving individual or business. Deadline for submission of nominations is Friday, April 21, 2009.

Recipients will be presented with awards during a charity dinner event on Thursday, June 4, at the new Heritage Center at the Heritage of Green Hills. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Berks Encore.
