This March, The Heritage hosted three unique events for residents, depositors and friends. If you missed any of these events or would like more information about future events at The Heritage, call 610-777-4431.
On March 4th, John Kissinger of Alvernia College discussed the folklore, culture and history among the Pennsylvania Dutch along with the common origins of their myths and folk beliefs at our monthly Alvernia Senior College Breakfast.
On March 12th, Dale Yoder, future resident of The Heritage and retired professor at Albright College, shared his meaningful and loving story of growing up. He discussed the dedication of his parents plus the help of many others with their “Labor of Love” to adopt eight Asiatic-American children. His family helped alter the racial make-up of America. His book is titled “Pearl Buck’s Living Legacy”.
On March 15th, The Heritage hosted a "Treasures from the Attic" event with three professional antique dealers. Attendees were asked to bring in one item to discuss value, estimated age and related information. They were then given suggestions on the best place and way to sell their item. The antique dealers also had the option to make an offer on items to purchase.
