Baby Chicks Hatch at the Heritage.
An employee brought in twelve chicken eggs for the residents and the staff to watch baby chicks be born. For twenty-one days the chicken eggs were rotated twice a day in their incubator to keep warm for them to hatch. On April 12th and 13th eight baby chicks were born. Residents brought in grandchildren and family members to enjoy the new Heritage family. The chicks will be taken to an employee's farm to be kept for their eggs.
